Reflecting on 2025 and looking ahead to 2026

Looking back on a year of progress
2025 has been another year of growth for Gael Force.
From industry events across the globe to the completion of some major projects, we’re proud of the work our teams have put in for the last 12 months and are looking forward to what is to come in 2026.
Around the world
This year, we connected with customers and partners at key international events in both aquaculture and commercial fishing, showcasing tried and tested products as well as our next-generation product development.
In March, Douglas and Stuart travelled to Limerick, Ireland, for Skipper Expo 2025 to connect with customers old and new in the commercial fishing industry.
As we continue to grow in the Mediterranean aquaculture market, Craig and Jamie made their way to Vigo, Spain, for Aquafuture 2025.
For the largest aquaculture event in Europe, the Gael Force team returned to Aqua Nor in Trondheim, Norway, where we showcased our industry-leading products and services.

Key product updates
In 2025, we continued to evolve our product offering with the introduction of new Scallop Pots to our Commercial Fishing range and the addition of a new plug-and-play feature to the SeaQureLift.

Maintaining our quality and accreditation
In June, we successfully passed an observation audit for our NS9415 accreditation, following a visit from Aquastructures.
The NS9415 standard is an important accreditation for all aquaculture technical equipment, demonstrating our ongoing commitment to excellence in product design and manufacture.
Project milestones
The year saw several significant project achievements, including the launch of new pens, nets, and moorings in Iceland, the construction of our 100th new barge in Inverness, the introduction of SeaQurePen 500 v2 pens in Shetland, and the completion of pontoon installations for the Moray West Wind Farm.
Growing the team overseas
In 2025, we welcomed Alessandro Ciattaglia to the Gael Force team, a new Sales Manager who will spearhead our business development in the Mediterranean and Middle East. Having already made an impact, securing new work in the region, we’re excited to have Alessandro on board.

Looking ahead to 2026
We expect 2026 to be a big year for Gael Force, particularly for our Aquaculture teams, with new and improved products being introduced. We’ll also be making a return to Aquaculture UK, where we expect to be able to showcase some of these new developments!
