Our expertise in the design and manufacture of a highly durable range of Gael Force feeding barges has enabled us to successfully deliver over 100 to the global aquaculture market. As designers and builders of concrete and steel feed barges, we are completely flexible in our approach to customer requirements, and on every occasion, we utilise our experience and knowledge to meet new needs and fully satisfy growing trends in feeding.
Feed barges are delivered complete with SeaFeedTM Technology, feed hoppers, generators, control room, tankage, and compressors, and depending on the size of barge and your requirements can include accommodation/living quarters and other optional equipment installed, such as integrated silage systems, cameras and sensor systems.
In partnership with Fjord Maritime, we have the capability and skillset to install or retrofit hybrid systems to our barges. Using Fjord Hybrid, fish farms can run their generators for as little as three hours per day, reducing fuel costs, and cutting greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90% compared with traditional operations.
