SeaCap Feed Barge
An established workhorse in our range for over 20 years, the SeaCapTM Feed Barge is a circular reinforced concrete pontoon that is specifically designed as a feeding unit.
SeaCaps have been in constant use in various sites on the West Coast of Scotland, Ireland and in the Faroe Islands, and have proven their robustness and seaworthiness.
Measuring ten metres in diameter, it can be designed to hold between 80T and 250T of feed depending on customer requirements.
Key Points
- The vertical cylindrical shape coupled with the low centre of gravity of the structure means that in rough seas, the SeaCapTM rises and falls gently with the waves, avoiding rolling and snatching which is associated with conventional pontoon structures.
- Delivered fully fitted out with the highly reliable SeaFeedTM offshore feed system.
- Ability to refurbish and be configured to be operated from shore.
