Mooring Anchors

High Holding Power

We have developed and designed our range of mooring anchors to have superior holding power, regardless of the substrate.

Our HHP anchor is the ideal choice for soft seabed, while the SeaQureGrip is designed to hold on solid rock bed. Our SeaQureHold is an all-rounder, performing well in various substrates.

We offer anchors in sizes from 100kg and up to 60,000kg holding power so there are plenty of options to choose from to meet your mooring needs.

SeaQureHold Anchor

Key Points
  • A step forward in aquaculture mooring technology.
  • Developed and tested by our highly skilled engineers to perform optimally in various substrates.
  • Over twice the holding power of conventional spade anchors used in aquaculture for any given weight.
  • Very fast setting gives more positional accuracy and reduces seabed scarring.
  • It can rotate and reset under off-centre loading.
  • Lower weights for holding power offer lower handling costs due to smaller vessels/cranes being used in deployment.
  • Improved transport and logistic costs due to lower weights.
  • Appropriate sizing of anchor shackles can be specified based on holding power, not shank dimensions.

Key Points
  • Proven to be a steadfast choice in mooring systems for aquaculture.
  • The ideal choice for use in traditional soft seabed environments.
    • The design allows it to be set firmly into the seabed and offers outstanding holding power in the toughest environments.
  • Holding power of times twenty.
  • Designed to 'top and tail' meaning it is very cost-efficient to transport.
  • Comes in a wide range of sizes from 100kg to 3000kg.
  • Supplied with stock as standard (not pictured).

SeaQureGrip Anchor

Square, flat anchor called SeaQureGrip with Gael Force logo and two connection point
Key Points
  • In-house engineered anchoring solution.
  • Designed to hold on solid rock bed with far superior holding power compared to a concrete block
  • Contains a mix of concrete and steel infill.
  • A unique design with load pulling through the anchor to offer an excellent counterbalance with the inclusion of a leading-edge grip.
  • The design allows the formation of a chain of anchors where forces dictate it.
  • Easily built under licences within the local market, therefore, transport costs can be significantly reduced.
  • Steel box casing with concrete and steel top plate.
  • Available in 2T, 4T and 6T sizes.
