SeaHaven Pontoons

The SeaHaven represents a distinguished marine pontoon system, offering both standard and heavy-duty (HD) models, renowned for their exceptional durability.
Admired for its reliability, the SeaHaven range serves as a secure marina for both recreational and commercial vessels. The standard system is specifically crafted for marinas in inland waterways and less exposed locations, whereas the HD variant is tailored for deployment in exposed and coastal environments.
Forged through over 30 years of experience gained from tackling challenging sites, these pontoons enjoy the trust of specifiers, designers, and end-users alike.
The use of robust steel sections in an all-welded construction imparts superior stability and torsional strength to the final product.
The pontoons can be tailored to bespoke sizes, available in widths of 2, 2.5, and 3 metres, with lengths ranging from 7 to 12 metres. Specially reinforced versions are also attainable for applications with high loadings, such as bridge landings and areas frequented by commercial pedestrian traffic.
Each float is meticulously constructed for full interchangeability and is filled with polystyrene. The heavy-duty, rotationally moulded design ensures the requisite buoyancy while concurrently providing resistance against impact damage, frost, and long-term decay, mitigating concerns such as spalling commonly associated with concrete floats.
Key Points
Heavy Duty version:
- Interconnections are achieved by utilising 4 No. heavy-duty rubber blocks combined with heavy M24 bolts and nyloc threaded nuts. This arrangement gives excellent lateral and vertical movement whist also maintaining high performance in compression and tension. Noise is virtually eliminated.
- Access for repairs and maintenance can be gained simply by removing the decking sections from above. Four securing bolts releases each float for exchange or inspection.
- Simple and elegant service access covers run along both sides of the pontoons providing easy unhindered access to cabling and other services. A specially developed access system allows simplified drop-in deployment of entire cable lengths from above, reducing installation time and cost.
