Team building, Gael Force style!
Recently, some members of our Product Development Team visited Windswept Brewery Co for a social team-building evening which proved to be both fun and informative.
Our engineers are based in various locations, so it was valuable for the team to meet up and catch up in a social environment while finding out about Windswept’s own product development processes and experiences.
Technical Development Manager Adam Young explained, "Our respective businesses may be very different, but it was surprising how much could be related between us."
"As well as describing how different beers are brewed, Windwept's MD, Nigel, happily discussed where they get their inspiration from, how they develop and test their products, their process control, quality monitoring and record keeping along with the importance of their brand and how they’ve worked to develop that."
He continued, "Following the tour we enjoyed an extensive sampling experience in their on-site Tap Room, discussing the flavours and characteristics of many of the beers, and fuelled ourselves with some excellent pizzas from their own wood-fired pizza oven!"
