Behold the Mighty SeaQureShackle
When we introduced SeaQureShackle to our range of aquaculture mooring components, we did so based on its superior strength plus an additional three layers of safety and durability in the design for added strength, security, and a mind free from worry.
1) It comes internally threaded.
2) Is secured with a robust nut.
3) …and it includes a tough metal retaining pin.
Based on the G-2130 spec, it is manufactured to EN13889 standard grade 6.
Incredible test results
Routine testing of our moorings shackles is the norm when it comes to ensuring that they are continuously meeting the high standards of quality needed for the safe, secure, and hugely important task of containing fish inside their pen.
But, even we were shocked by the results returned from the independent load tests carried out on the 4.75-tonne and 17-tonne versions of this fish farm shackle.
In both cases, the Inspection Supervisor reported that the tests had to be stopped as they were causing significant strain and damage to the testing equipment!
On the 4.75-tonne, the load test was stopped as the sling broke before the shackle, and on the 17-tonne the inspection company’s own load testing shackle had started to become damaged.
Incredible results with both the shackles proving to exceed a safety factor of 6:1 and a huge testimony to the strength and quality of SeaQureShackle.
